08/05/08 Summer has arrived. How delightful to be back in short sleeves, and enjoying the feeling of a bit of sunshine. If wanting to enjoy it by the water, we can offer a fully residential 40ft x 12ft static houseboat on the Grand Union (Hayes / Southall borders), which is just a stones throw from the M4 and Heathrow Airport. This proper home is for sale at £33,000, so in these difficult time a mortgage is not required.
02/05/08 Local elections seem to be favouring the Tory Party, is it just that confidence in labour is sadly lacking, and Joe Public wants it known? Whatever, there's still no such thing as a free lunch, and I'm sure that's how it's going to continue. Not free, but only £24,500 is this 1993 36ft Midland Canal Centre / Stenson build and fit Traditional Stern Narrowboat which has just arrived at Iver for sale.
23/04/08 If really worried that the big housing crash is about to happen how about selling up now and moving on to this 1998 47ft Colecraft Cruiser Stern located on a fully residential berth at Iver, West London. Then when the housing market has bottomed out buy back in, unless of course your enjoying living afloat so much. Or, as this boat is only £39,500, do both.
Although not fully residential this boat has been used on a 'pied-a-terre' basis, and as such we present this 47ft x 12ft widebeam GRP Carribean style cruiser, for sale at £33,000, and loctaed on the River Thames between Staines and Chertsey.
19/04/08 Truly exceptional Dutch Barge! We don't often agree with owners about the state of their boats but this 1900's built Dutch Tjalk Style Barge is truly exceptional. At 60ft x 13ft 6in she is very handleable, and provides spacious internal accommodation. The hull has been overplated (5mm steel) and the whole interior has been totally refurbished to a very high standard. Furthermore she is located on a berth which could possibly transfer, and where 'pied-à-terre' usage is accepted. Priced at £165,000, this a very attractive package.
15/04/08 At last we have some blue skies, lighter evenings, and the promise of summer on the way. As a result boats are suddenly moving in all senses of the word. To that end just arrived at High Line for sale and priced at £14,750 is a 1982 36ft SpringerCruiser Stern that is only being sold because the owner has bought a larger boat.
At the other end of the scale we are able to offer this 72ft x 13ft Widebeam Dutch Luxemotor Barge located on a secure fully residential berth in West London, near to Ladbroke Grove. On the market at £250,000 - not cheap, but what a location!.
